The Tamil Nadu government will set up swine flu test centres in major towns of the state. The move comes after a four-year-old boy died in Chennai due to the flu on Monday.
The decision was taken at a review meeting chaired by Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi here today. The new centres will come up at Madurai, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli. At present, such centres are present only in Chennai and Vellore.
