Tokyo Meet To Take Up Farm Access, Services

The agenda for the Tokyo mini-ministerial conference on 15-16 February was likely to include market access in agriculture and services, Rules, anti-dumping, and Singapore issues like investment and competition policy, said Tadakatsu Sano, vice-minister for international affairs, the ministry of economy, trade and industry of Japan.

Sano, who along with the Japanese ambassador, called on Commerce and Industry Minister Arun Shourie today also expressed Japan's disappointment with the lack of progress in the World Trade Organisation on the trade-related intellectual property rights (TRIPS) and public health issues.
