JD(U) today said NDA, if voted to power, will give top priority to bring the "black money" stashed in Swiss banks back to the country.

JD(U) would put pressure on NDA, if voted to power, to disclose the names of people including politicians and bureaucrats who have allegedly deposited crores of rupees in Swiss banks, JD(U) principal general secretary K C Tyagi told a press conference here.

Besides, the new government would also be stressed to bring back the money that "belonged to the poor and starved Indians", he said.

He said that certain extremists and terrorist outfits also have deposited unaccounted money in foreign banks and that would also be revealed by the new NDA government.

JD(U), has fielded 29 candidates for Lok Sabha polls in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh as an NDA ally, while in Rajasthan's Banswara and Jaipur-rural seats, the party is contesting on its own, Tyagi said.

JD(U), which is not enjoying a warm relationship with Rajasthan BJP, would support Independent candidates in 15 of the 25 Parliamentary constituencies in the state.

On BJP manifesto promising uniform civil code, Ram Temple, and abrogation of Article 370, Tyagi said, it was BJP's plan not of NDA partners. Because of JD(U)'s protest no combined manifesto of NDA was released on the eve of LS polls, he added.
