Tour Operators Likely To Suffer Losses Of Rs 40-50 Crore

Indian tour operators are likely to lose between Rs 40-50 crore on account of cancellations and postponement of various tours and conferences in the wake of the recent terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre in the US. The loss amounts to 10-12 per cent of the annual business of the tour operators.

Naturally, the tour operators are a worried lot. Sita India inbound division chief operating officer Arjun Sharma said:
