Turner wants name out of TataSky-Zee rift

Press Trust Of India New Delhi
Turner International (India) Ltd has approached the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) seeking deletion of its name from the tribunal's order which observed that broadcasters had failed to provide signals to Direct-to-Home operator TataSky.

The TDSAT, on March 31, had observed that all the respondents -- Turner International (India), Zee Telefilms, ASC Enterprises and Zee-Turner -- had defaulted in providing signals to the operator on non-discriminatory basis.

Turner (India), in its review application, has argued it was not a party to the dispute between TataSky and Zee-Turner and was unnecessarily dragged into the litigation.
