Members of the UAC including the sarpanch of Gadkujang and panchyat samiti member of Nuagaon participated in the meeting of the RPDAC despite the committee's decision to boycott the meet. Nakul Sahoo, Gadkujang sarpanch said, “We preferred to participate in the meeting so that the people's issues can be highlighted.
Our absence from the RPDAC meeting would not have helped in solving the problems of the people.” The meeting was presided over by P K Mohapatra, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (central division). Representatives of displaced families of Posco project and the elected representatives highlighted various issues of the affected people at the meet.
