Unitech, DB Realty stocks rise

Stocks of Unitech and DB Realty, two major players in the realty sector, went up on Wednesday on reports that the Supreme Court has granted bail to Sanjay Chandra and Vinod Goenka, managing directors of Unitech and DB Realty, respectively. Unitech stock rose 4.40 per cent to close at Ra 23.30 while DB Realty stock ended the day at Ra 64.60, 19.96 per cent higher than Tuesday’s close. The Bombay Stock Exchange Realty, which tracks realty stocks, lost 1.62 per cent.
