K Mohan Das, president Association of Indian Universities (AIU) said that the association had formed a committee to recommend some alternative financing schemes for the educational institutions. |
At the conference, the vice-chancellors and directors of Indian university institutions in the eastern zone, some former vice-chancellors, administrators including heads of apex bodies, such as UGC, AICTE, NCTE, DEC and other stakeholders in higher education would present their vision and points of views. |
These may include identification of bottlenecks in the development of higher education and suggestions of possible remedial measures. |
