US CFTC allows trading in BSE futures

US CFTC has allowed Bombay Stock Exchange's Futures contract based on the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index to be Offered and Sold in the United States.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC's) Office of General Counsel issued a no-action letter on June 14, 2006, permitting the offer and sale in the United States of the Bombay Stock Exchange's (BSE's) futures contract based on the Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index (Sensex).
