| US dollar ends dearer against rupee |

The US dollar ended dearer against the rupee at Rs 47.16/17 per dollar and the pound sterling also finished higher at Rs 68.83/85 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) Market here today.
