US indices, Indian ADRs drop on Friday

The US indices on the Wall Street ended with significant losses on Friday. The Dow Jones industrial average plunged 120 points to 11,381. The Nasdaq dropped 29 points to 2,244.

The Indian ADRs, too, ended sharply into red. ICICI Bank slumped over 3% to $28.71. Patni Computers, Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, MTNL and VSNL were down 1-3% each. HDFC Bank and Dr.Reddy's, however, bucked the trend.
