US indices rally; ADRs shine

The Dow Jones industrial average surged 145 points to 13,236. The Nasdaq rallied 31 points to 2553.

Indian ADRs, too, ended with smart gains. Sterlite zoomed over 9% to $14.94. Genpact soared 7% to $15.64. Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, MTNL, VSNL and Dr.Reddy's gained 2-4% each.
