The Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA), a non-profit trade development association of America, has chalked out an ambitious plan of promoting the sale and consumption of the nut in India. |
The association, comprising the departments of agriculture of 15 southern US states, has appointed Imports 2 India (i2i) to spearhead its marketing and promotional activities. |
The Indian consulting firm is currently on a promotional campaign to reach out to importers, retailers, distributors and high-end consumers. |
SUSTA's assistant director John Curry Key told newspersons that so far more than 50 importers from various parts of India and several elite consumers have shown interest in the product. |
