Vajpayee To Woo Chinese Infotech Firms During Visit

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will play the role of a cheer leader for the domestic software and software services sector during his visit to China.

Vajpayee will inaugurate the first ever Indian software industry event in China, organised by the National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) on June 26 in Shanghai.

In his address, he is expected to speak at length on the advantages of working with Indian software companies and the steps being taken by the government to propel the sector. Vajpayee is likely to call upon major Chinese infotech and electronics companies to work with Indian software companies.
