Electronics payments saw a dip in value and a marginal rise in volume in July over the previous month, says the Reserve Bank of India's monthly bulletin.
The total value of these payments was Rs 1,96,91,189 crore, a five per cent dip. The volume for July rose to 1,876.5 million, from 1,820.5 mn.
Mobile banking saw a significant dip from June, the volume dipping to 111.79 mn, from 115.73 mn. The value for July dipped 22 per cent to Rs 139,620 crore.
