Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf told the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday that an acceptable solution for Islamabad's long-standing dispute with New Delhi over Kashmir was within reach.

Musharraf told the 61st session of the UN General Assembly in New York that his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, on the sidelines of NAM summit in Havana, would help to carry forward the peace process.
