Vienna-Kerala-Amritsar flight soon

Jutta Stefan-Bastl, Austrian ambassador to India, said a high-powered Austrian delegation would visit India next month for assessing business opportunities available in the country registering stupendous growth.
 
During her visit to Amritsar, Jutta said apart from visiting Delhi, the delegation would also visit various states, including Punjab.
 
She said Austria's airline would soon start a flight linking Vienna-Kerala-Amritsar and a visa centre would be opened at Chandigarh in addition to Delhi.
 
She said the decision for introducing flight from these two states was taken keeping in view a large number of people especially students migrating to Austria.
 
Being one of the wealthiest countries in Europe, Austria is an EU member with stable economy. She said her country was a highly developed industrialised nation with an important service sector.
