Vinod Gupta School eyes SE Asia market

Vinod Gupta School of Management is looking at south east Asia as a potential market for its middle-management training programme.
 
Kalyan Kumar Guin, associate professor, said the institute planned to collaborate with other institutions to introduce such courses in south-east Asia.
 
Vinod Gupta School already runs a middle-management training programme in Bangladesh in association with Royal Danish Embassy and Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C).
 
The programme, essentially for working executives, is a six-week course and the fees are approximately Rs 2 lakh. The student intake for the course in Bangladesh is 15.
 
The programme is based on five different aspects of management""systems, production and operations, finance, marketing and human resources development.
 
Guin said, the programme also covers communication, soft skills and strategy. There is also scope of working on live projects.
