VPT to provide Rs 14-crore loan to VMC

 VMC has proposed to spend Rs 100 crores for laying additional water distributions lines and constructions of pumping stations, reservoirs and filtrations points in the city area, to receive and distribute the additional water, which will be expecting from Godavari river, through Godavari water supply scheme.

 To augment the funds for this project, VMC has decided to take loans of Rs.70 from the existing industries in Visakhapatnam city.

 Accordingly VMC was asked Visakhapatnam port a loan of Rs.25 crores.
