Wall St ends down; ADRs gain

The US indices ended lower for the third session yesterday as subprime mortgage worries continued to weigh fueled by higher bond yields.

The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 14 points to 13,338. The Nasdaq was down three points at 2574.

Indian ADRs ended mostly in green. Wipro, MTNL, VSNL and Dr.Reddy's advanced around 1% each to $15.62, $7.86, $23.40 and $15.96, respectively. HDFC Bank slipped 1% to $81.27.
