Wall St ends down; ADRs tumble

The Dow Jones industrial average shed 72 points to 13,913. The Nasdaq slipped 16 points to 2764.

The Indian ADRs tumbled across the board. HDFC Bank slumped over 10% to $106.64. Sterlite and Patni Computers plunged around 8% each to $21.03 and $21.88, respectively. Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, ICICI Bank, VSNL, Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's dropped around 3-6% each.
