Wall St ends slips; ADRs drop

Wall Street slipped on Thursday on lower earnings by Oracle and fears of another major casualty in the banking sector. The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 120 points to 12,302. The Nasdaq dropped 44 points to 2,281.

Indian ADRs, also, ended on a weak note. Tata Communications plunged 6.5% to $26.20. Infosys, Genpact, Satyam, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors dropped 2-4% each to $36.31, $12.39, $22.82, $39.47 and $15.63, respectively. Sterlite, however, gained 2.3% at $18.01.
