Wall St gains; ADRs rally

The Dow Jones industrial average moved up 23 points to 12,132. The Nasdaq rallied 17 points to 2406.

Indian ADRs too ended with smart gains. Infosys and Satyam surged over 3% each to $55.17 and $22.61, respectively. Wipro gained nearly 2% at $14.56. Patni Computers, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors were up 1% each at $20.50, $38.42 and $18.82, respectively. VSNL slipped over 2% to $20, while MTNL declined over 1% to $6.03.
