Wall St gains, Indian ADRs advance

The Dow Jones industrial average gained 49 points at 10,974. The Nasdaq added 12 points to 2112.

Indian ADRs largely finished with gains yesterday. VSNL zoomed 7.6% to $17.35. Infosys and Wipro surged 2.5% each to $72.70 and $12.15, respectively. Satyam spurted 1% to $32.15.

The crude oil futures for August delivery moved up 27 cents to settle at $72.19 per barrel on the NYMEX.
