Wall St marginally up; ADRs zoom

The Dow Jones Industrail average index gained 11 points at 12,475. The Nasdaq moved up eight points to 2423.

Indian ADRs ended with sharp gains. Tata Motors zoomed over 6% to $21.69. VSNL surged 5.5% to $20.25, and MTNL soared 4.4% to $6.64. Infosys and Satyam advanced 2.3% each to $55.82 and $24.56, respectively. Wipro and ICICI Bank spurted over 1% each to $16.37 and $42.24, respectively.
