Wall St perks up; ADRs shine

The US indices posted their fourth straigth gains yesterday. The Dow Jones industrial average gained 45 points at 11,543. The Nasdaq moved up 12 points to 2228.

Indian ADRs continued their upward march on Wednesday. ICICI Bank rallied 4% to $28.32. VSNL surged nearly 3% to $17.58, and Dr.Reddy's moved up 2.4% to $15.92. Wipro and MTNL were up 1.6% each at $12.70 and $6.75, respectively. Infosys added 1% to $46.56.

The crude oil futures for October delivery rose 21 cents to settle at $63.97 per barrel on the NYMEX.
