Wall St rallies; Indian ADRs shine too

The Wall Street ended higher yesterday backed by a fresh wave of corporate deals and robust IPO of MasterCard. The Dow Jones industrial average rallied 97 points to 11,214. The Nasdaq surged 29 points to 2,199.

The Indian ADRs zoomed. MTNL and Tata Motors soared around 7% each to $7.56 and $17.65, respectively. Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and VSNL gained 3-5% each. Patni Computers was the sole loser.
