Wall St slips; ADRs drop

The Wall Street slipped on Friday. The Dow Jones industrial average shed 83 points to 12,398. The Nasdaq slipped 19 points to 2434.

Indian ADRs, too, ended on a weak note. Tata Motors plunged 3.5% to $20.86. Satyam, Patni Computers, Wipro, HDFC Bank, VSNL and Dr.Reddy's declined 2-3% each to $23.85, $19.81, $15.86, $73.21, $19.30 and $18.16, respectively.
