Wall St slips; ADRs drop too

The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 80 points to 11533. The Nasdaq slipped 15 points to 2238.

Indian ADRs too ended in negative zone. Satyam slipped over 3% to $39.49, and VSNL tumbled over 2% to $17.65. Infosys, ICICI Bank, MTNL and Tata Motors were down 1-2% each. Patni Computers, however, moved up 1% to $19.10.

The crude oil futures for November delivery rose 85 cents to settle at $61.59 per barrel on the NYMEX.
