Wall St slips, ADRs slide

The Dow Jones industrial average index slipped 31 points to 11,950. The Nasdaq dropped 19 points to 2345.

Indian ADRs dropped across the board. Wipro, HDFC Bank and MTNL shed 2.5% each to $14.62, $67.60 and $6.81, respectively. VSNL, Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's were down around 1.5% each to $18.98, $19.68 and $15.63, respectively. ICICI Bank declined nearly 1% to $32.79. Patni Computers, however, gained 3% at $20.28.
