Wall St slips; ADRs tumble

The Dow Jones industrial average was down 28 points at 12,553. The Nasdaq slipped nine points to 2450.

Indian ADRs tumbled across the board. VSNL plunged 10% to $19.56m, and MTNL tumbled 8% to $6.38. Satyam, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors were down 1-3% each at $23.11, $23.24, $44.69, $75.78 and $19.87, respectively. Dr.Reddy's, however, spurted over 1% to $16.70.
