Wall St slips, Indian ADRs drop

The Wall Street slipped on Friday amid rising conflict in the Middle East and lower earnings forecast by Dell. The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 60 points to 10,868. The Nasdaq dropped 19 points to 2020.

The Indian ADRs ended mostly in negative zone. MTNL plunged 6.5% to $5.64, and VSNL dropped 4.4% to $14.68. Patni Computers shed 4.5% to $11.81. Tata Motors, Infosys, Wipro and HDFC Bank declined over 2% each. Satyam, however, surged nearly 4% to $32, and Dr.Reddy's spurted 1% to $27.09, respectively.
