Wall St slips; Indian ADRs gain

The US indices dropped on Friday amid volatile trades as fears of rising interest rates and slowing economy kept investors at bay. The Dow Jones industrial average shed 47 points to 10,891. The Nasdaq slipped 10 points to 2,135.

However, the Indian ADRs trackking the upmove back home ended mostly with gains. Patni Computers rallied over 5% to $15.10. Satyam surged 4% to $29.81. VSNL spurted over 3% to $15.22, and Tata Motors gained 2.6% at $16.01.
