Wall St slips; MTNL plunges 6%

The US indices ended lower on Wednesday amid selling in technology stocks and concerns over monthly job data. The Dow Jones industrial average shed 79 points to 13,968. The Nasdaq slipped 18 points to 2729.

Indian ADRs also ended on weak note. MTNL plunged 6% to $7.90. Genpact, Wipro, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Dr.Reddy's dropped 1-3% each. Sterlite, however, moved up 1.6% to $19.36.
