Wall Street up, Oil drops below $70

The Wall Street added gains on Tuesday as hopes build up that the Federal Reserve pause on rate hike is likely to last longer. The Dow Jones industrial average moved up 18 points to 11,370. The Nasdaq gained 12 points at 2172.

Indian ADRs ended mostly with gains. Wipro surged nearly 3% to $12.91, and Infosys advanced over 2.5% to $44.96. ICICI Bank rallied 1.7% to $27.27, and MTNL spurted 1.3% to $6.79.

The crude oil futures for October delivery slipped 90 cents to settle at $69.71 per barrel on the NYMEX.
