Want to lunch with investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala? All it takes is a few mouse clicks on online market place eBay India, though you should be ready to shell out thousands of rupees for an invite.
"The auction for lunch with Jhunjhunwala will happen in November," eBay India Director (Marketing and Product) Muralikrishnan said.
The proceeds will go to charity, he added.
The online market place organised a similar lunch date with Jhunjhunwala last year, which attracted a top bid of Rs 14.02 lakh -- one of the record amounts for an auction on eBay India.
The highest bid for lunch with Jhunjhunwala was put in by a Gujarat-based stock market analyst.
"This year also we are expecting at least Rs 14 lakh from the lunch auction, which will be utilised in charity works," Muralikrishnan added.
EBay every year conducts a charity auction for a lunch with Warren Buffett, one of the richest people in the world. The annual auction attracts hundreds of bids and the proceeds are utilised for charity purposes.
Jhunjhunwala, who is also known as India's Warren Buffett, owns asset management firm Rare Enterprises, through which he also manages his own portfolio.
EBay India had earlier organised a coaching camp with cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar, as well as a lunch date with Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan.
