The West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation (WBTIDC) is planning to issue letter of intent (LoI) for the Rs 130 crore river cruise project by the end of this month.
WBTIDC will have less than 50 per cent stake the public private partnership (PPP) project on behalf of the state government. The entire project would be executed over four years, said T V N Rao, managing director, WBTIDC, on the sidelines of a CII seminar on tourism in Kolkata today.
