West Bengal CM woos investors

Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, projected his state, with investor-friendly policies and low cost of operations, as the best destination in the country for foreign as well as domestic industrial investments.
 
"West Bengal also fulfills the other important requirements like communal harmony, peace and political stability more than anywhere else," he said, addressing a roadshow organised by the CII here.
 
On the 'trade union militancy,' he said his government would not allow trade unions to hold the industry to ransom.
