Wheat dara (for mills) traded Rs 5 higher at Rs 1,060-1,110 per quintal in the wholesale market here.

Roller Flour Millers Association Secretary Veena Sharma attributed problem in supply due to rains for the marginal increase in prices.

Activity in other commodities including rice remained subdued as enquiries from neighbouring states were negligible due to heavy rains in the city.

Meanwhile, prices of super basmati rice and basmati rice (common) remained steady at Rs 8,100 and Rs 6650-6820 a quintal respectively.
