India's wholesale prices fell for a 13th straight month in November, declining an annual 1.99%, mainly on tumbling oil prices, government data showed on Monday.
The fall was slower than a 2.80% annual decline forecast by economists in a Reuters poll. In October, the index fell a provisional 3.81%.
The wholesale fuel prices dropped 11.09% from a year ago in November, while prices of manufactured goods declined 1.42% year on year.
Food prices in November, however, gained 5.20% year-on-year, compared with a provisional 2.44% gain in October.
