"The people of the country have been duped in the current Parliament session by the Congress. In the last three weeks, the opposition has raked up issues that are unsubstantial and have stalled the development work that the current government has taken up. As a result, there are less possibilities of GST being implemented by April 2016 and the government will look for alternative ways to do the same," said Goyal.
Alleging that the Congress party was avenging its 2014 Lok Sabha elections defeat by stalling development work, Goyal said that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would spread awareness regarding the same among citizens, especially in the 53 constituencies of Congress and other opposition parties.
"They have not digested their 2014 defeat and are avenging the same from the people of the country. However, the people of this country had given absolute majority to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government and reduced the Congress to just 44 in the last Lok Sabha elections. BJP's 110 million workers will take the message of how Congress is stalling the current government's work to fulfill the people's dreams to all the citizens in the coming days, especially in the Congress constituency," said Goyal, alleging that Congress had misused the Constitutional system of Parliament.
"If this attitude continues in Parliament, then we will still continue to work but these hindrances will definitely slow us down in fulfilling people's dreams and our promises to them," Goyal added.
Apart from creating awareness, party workers on the occasion of Rakshabandhan will also help women from poor and backward areas to engage in social security schemes introduced by the NDA government.
Goyal added that apart from that, the party workers will also spread awareness over Mudra Bank in a week long initiative between September 25 and October 2, 2015. "The government has set a Rs 1.22 lakh crore disbursement target through Mudra," Goyal added.
