William Grant and Sons, the leading independent family-owned Scotch whisky company, has decided to step up its presence in the Indian market following the withdrawal of quantitative restrictions.
The company has introduced its flagship brand Glenfiddich Single Malt in India which will be available at duty-free shops and upmarket bars and restaurants in the four metros.
Glenfiddich will be marketed through Bacardi-Martini India Ltd, which has recently entered the whisky segment by marketing whisky brands of Whyte and Mackay. The two companies have embarked upon a marketing alliance to sell Glenfiddich range along with William Grant
