Works on revival of Motorala facility started, says TN Industries Minister

The Tamil Nadu government is working on the revival of Motorola's mobile phones and components facility lying idle since 2013 near Chennai, at a cost of Rs 5 billion. Besides, auto major PSA Peugeot Citroen's Rs 25 billion project is also getting shaped, said state's Industries minister M C Sampath.

The development comes at a time when questions were raised about Tamil Nadu's status as an attractive state for investors on the backdrop of recent political developments and unrests.
