Workshop on good governance now in Nov

The three-day international conference on 'Good Urban Governance -- Making Cities Work' along with an international exhibition on 'Good Governance India' has been re-scheduled.

 
Both the vents will take place at the National Academy of Construction and Hitex here from November 27 to 29, instead of October 29 to 31 as announced earlier.

 
The change has been effected, after consultation with the state government, in view of the First Afro-Asian Games being held in the city.

 
The event is of substantial relevance for all the stake-holders dealing with the urban development, urban management and urban governance. The Government of Andhra Pradesh is the partner state for the event.

 
The international conference and exhibition will be inaugurated by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Bandaru Dattatreya, the union minister of state for urban development and poverty alleviation.
