Workshop on music from Feb 24

Once again, Shilparamam is going to provide a feast to the eyes and ears of art lovers in a novel way. Soon after the ongoing week-long landscape painting camp was completed, the crafts village is going to conduct a nine-day workshop on music, with renowned musician Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna enlightening the enthusiastic and promising musicians every evening.

The third workshop, scheduled to be held from February 24 to March 3, is quiet an interesting one as it deals with making of decorative art pieces using paper mesh as raw material. At least, eight artists of repute will participate in this workshop.

The highlight of this month will be Shiva rathri festival at Shilparamam on February 18.

A grand night of thrilling cultural events like Nataraja Nrithya and devotional music will be presented in the backdrop of artistically created Kailash Hill, Maha Shivalingam etc on the Shiva rathri day.
