Harsha V Singh, deputy director general of WTO, today said convergence on the modalities related to agriculture and industrial goods in the Doha round of world trade talks is likely to be achieved by December. Speaking at a session on "WTO negotiations; Will it be a development round? " organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here, Singh added that an agreement on services-related issues is likely to be delayed. "Draft agreement papers on issues dealing with trade facilitation and rules of origin are likely to be out soon," he said. |
