"Rampant corruption, scarcity of electricity and drinking water and non-performance by the UPA govt has led to a chaotic situation in the state," the former External Affairs Minister said.
"We will expose the government's failure," he said. Sinha, who kicked off the programme said, in the next 12 days, he would lead party workers from two districts daily to the Chief Minister's residence for gherao.
"While the UPA at the Centre has failed to curb prices, the UPA at the state level has failed to control corruption," he alleged while leading party workers from Pakur and Hazaribag districts.
Expressing concern over two naxal attacks in Hazaribag in a span of five days, Sinha criticised law and order in the state. Former state unit president Yadunath Pandey, spokesman Biranchi Narayan and a couple of BJP MLAs were also taken into custody. They were all later let off.
