With BJP set to take a decision on his fate in the wake of allegations of land scam in Karnataka, Chief Minister B Yeddyurappa today said he will abide by whatever decision the party leadership takes about him.

"Whatever decision is taken by the party, I will abide by the order," he told reporters here.

"I met (BJP chief Nitin) Gadkariji and other senior leaders last night. A decision will be taken around noon. I will not say anything before that," Yeddyurappa, who visited a temple at Raghvendra Mutt in the morning, said.

He also had a breakfast meeting with party MPs from the state.

Asked if he was happy, he merely said, "In future also I want to look very happy".

His reactions came after a day of hectic parleys among BJP leaders on the issue late last night.

According to party sources, the Chief Minister may come out with a statement that he did not defy the party leadership and that he would accept whatever the party decides about him.

Gadkari had said yesterday that a decision on the Chief Minister's fate will be announced today at 11 AM.
