Among the prominent names in Congress' fourth list released on Thursday night was Finance Minister P Chidambaram's son, Karti Chidambaram, from Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu. Chidambaram had informed the party that he wanted to field his son in his place. There was much speculation over Chidambaram contesting the 2014 polls. The other surprise from Tamil Nadu was party veteran Mani Shankar Aiyar. In Delhi sitting MPs Mahabal Mishra and Ramesh Kumar have been fielded from West and South Delhi, respectively.
Digvijaya Singh's brother, Laxman Singh, has been fielded from Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh.
