Congress president Sonia Gandhi, vice president Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are all set to address public meetings in Telangana in the next few days.
The second round of campaign in Telangana by the Congress president and vice president is seemed to be aimed at capitalising on the ruling party’s decision to accord separate statehood to the region where polling to the 119 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats will be held on April 30.
Rahul Gandhi, who visited the state last week, is coming again on Friday to address elections rallies in Warangal and Hyderabad. The next day, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Bhongir. The following day, on April 27, Sonia Gandhi will be addressing an election rally at Andole in Medak district.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which supported the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation Bill, is also banking big on Telangana. In a whirlwind tour two days back, party's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, had held four rallies in the region.
BJP, which entered into an electoral alliance with the Telugu Desam Party, is contesting in 47 Assembly and 8 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana.
